How can I see my results

Dear rooters,

   I use the AliRoot program do some simulation and get the results with the extend name .root, but when I enter root or aliroot to use TBrowser browser to open these files, root and aliroot exit itself. So I cann't read my data. I want to know what's the problem with this and how can I see my results? Thank you.
