Re: [ROOT] TMonitor->Select not returning

 I don't want to receive an email with an "Important Notice" containing:

"Please also delete the message from your computer, and destroy any paper
copies."

 I don't guarantee for this from my side, and wish to be removed from the
roottalk mailing list if I have to take care of such requests. The whole
package allows copy and redistribution, and in this spirit I'm going
through the mailing list. I found the question interesting and was just
about to copy it to my respective email folder :(

 Best greetings, Jan

It appears never to return under any circumstances. I'm running this with both 3.03 and the latest v. 3.05.06, on a win2000 machine. I've also tried running the hserv2.C macro with the corresponding 2 hclient.C (from 3 separate rint consoles..) and get the same results. Can anyone else running on win32 confirm or deny if this is a windows specific problem (i.e. try running those two macros: at http://root.cern.ch/lxr/source/tutorials/hserv2.C and http://root.cern.ch/lxr/source/tutorials/hclient.C )
