Drawing ports
A drawing port is a channel that enables graphics to be drawn to a graphics device, sent to a printer, or channelled anywhere you like. This chapter explains how graphics and geometries are drawn, presents the drawing port architecture, and describes how to customize the drawing operation to meet special programming requirements. Devices are described briefly under the heading "Graphics devices" on page 372.
