Cap styles apply finishes to the start, end, or interior discontinuity of a path geometry (C0 discontinuity as described in Chapter 4). The TCap derived classes shown in Figure 104 provide the interfaces for creating flush caps, round caps, and square caps. The start and end caps can be mixed; for example, a round start cap can be mixed with a square end cap. TCap has a pure virtual AdjustBounds function to return the TGRect that encloses the pen and the cap.
