Hi Philippe,

  1. You are right. Its bizarre. I haven't experienced adding "." directory in LD_LIBRARY_PATH before. Why this is so? I am using CERN Lxplus root giving 2 commands

. /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/gcc/4.3.2/x86_64-slc5/setup.sh

. /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/app/releases/ROOT/5.30.01/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/root/bin/thisroot.sh

I thought this is well enough but now one need to take care of LD_LIBRARY_PATH too. It should be automatically in the PATH, No?
