Problem with curly brackets on Mac

Dear ROOTers,

when using the GUI editor in a TCanvas, I am not able to type curly brackets
when I want to edit the title text of a histogram in this TCanvas. I have to do it
in the command line or through a script. Also, if I create a Pave Label or Text/Latex
everything is OK, but with the Pave Text and Paves Text the problem appears again.
Of course it is not a big problem since I can do what I want by other means,
but it is somewhat annoying...

I am running ROOT 5.23/02 (trunk_at_27619) with Mac OSX 10.5.8 on a Macbook Pro
with Intel Core Duo.

Any ideas?

Best regards,
Cecilie
