Dear all,
since I have tried 10 minutes to register to the RooFit forum in sourceforge, and I didn't succeed, then I was forced to send my email here, unless there is another official support about RooFit on the web.
I have a simple question about fitting, which comes out from the examples I have seen on the web site.
My objective is to fit a histogram with a Breit-Wigner function, and there is indeed a RooBreitWigner object in the package, but I found that it has only two parameters: mass and gamma. On the other hand, I am interested also (or better, mainly) in computing the yield of the resonances I have counted in the historgram. In a standard Breit-Wigner this should be another parameter, appearing as a constant which multiplies the basic function. Since I don't find this parameter in the standard RooBreitWigner, how can I compute it after the fit?
Thanks, best regards
