You should do gPad->Update() after hh->Draw(...)

I tried to get the contour after plotting a TH2F but without success.

My code is attached, and the running result is

CINT/ROOT C/C++ Interpreter version 5.16.29, Jan 08, 2008 Type ? for help. Commands must be C++ statements. Enclose multiple statements between { }. root [0] .x test.C
<TCanvas::MakeDefCanvas>: created default TCanvas with name c1 null contours!
