checking for zombie

hi,

is there a way to check if a TFile will be a zombie without opening it? it would be nice if when you obtained a list of root files in a directory (for example using TSystemDirectory::GetListOfFiles) you could check if the file will be a zombie if it's opened without calling the TFile constructor...since the constructor prints a couple of warning messages to the screen if the file has problems.
