Problems with root

Hi,

I have the following problem with root. If I try draw a histogram which is in a
root-file I am getting the following error message :

Compiled for linux with thread support.

CINT/ROOT C/C++ Interpreter version 5.15.138, May 23 2004 Type ? for help. Commands must be C++ statements. Enclose multiple statements between { }. root [0] TFile *f = new TFile("sim4k_001.root") root [1] hYPt->Draw("TEXT")

<TCanvas::MakeDefCanvas>: created default TCanvas with name c1

Did somebody know what exactly the problem is? I never had such problems with the
root version 3.10/02. I checked also the root version 4.04/02 and I am getting the same error message.
