maybe this is related:

I have problems to change a histogram's attributes interactively. If I click on the histogram I get the editor, but often it refers to the TFrame instead to the TH1. Sometimes it works, but if the editor is once 'connected' to the TFrame I never get it 'connected' with the TH1.

PS: Using 4.02_00 with small updates to get TBox correctly drawn in log scale and to have the 'new' hatched styles work properly, i.e. TBox.cxx 1.17, TPad.cxx 1.159 and TAttFill 1.10.
