Hi, I was trying to run a macro on ROOT under Windows2000 (ROOT compiled with gcc under Cygwin, look inside the "test.res" file for details of the version), and I am getting some strange results that I am not sure where they come from. The macro is the attached file "test.C" and the results of the run are in the file "test.res" The first of my problems is that the "Form()" method in lines 41, 42 seem to fail. When these lines are included the macro seems to run but with a strange message about the ".root" file not found (look inside "test.res"). The output files are not even created. When lines 41 and 42 are omitted the code runs and seemingly everything is ok. The produced ".dat" file looks ok but the ".root" is junk. The code runs ok on Linux and I have no idea why on Windows fails or how to trace the problem. Thanks! Stelios.
