This simply remade the links reilnote:~/root_cvs/root/>rm $ROOTSYS/lib/*.dll reilnote:~/root_cvs/root/>make make: Nothing to be done for `all'. reilnote:~/root_cvs/root/>make install as did reilnote:~/root_cvs/root/>make uninstall reilnote:~/root_cvs/root/>make install I am now trying make uninstall make clean configure win32gcc make make install I am pretty sure I did this yesterday except for the make uninstall part. (I had made sure ROOTSYS was set properly as it was not the very first time I tried). Does the make go differently if $ROOTSYS/lib and bin are already there or does it make the new version independantly) Is there a "by hand" fix? IE what should the lib and bin dirs look like? Thanks, Kevin PS would it help for me to attach the Makefile to check if it looks different then one might expect? |------------------------------------|---------------------------------| | Kevin Reil | 2575 Sand Hill Road, MS 26 | | X2447, 103D A&E Bldg. 041 | Menlo Park, CA 94025 | |------------------------------------|---------------------------------| | http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~reil | Office (650) 926-2447 | | reil@slac.stanford.edu | Home (650) 938-1767 | | http://reil.no-ip.org | Fax (650) 926-5368 | |----------------------------------------------------------------------| | And my father dwelt in a tent. | |----------------------------------------------------------------------|
