[ROOT] Tabs <--> windows

Hi,

Is there any mechanism in ROOT's TG classes that supports the user
choosing between displaying a bunch of frames either in tabs or in
separate windows?  I think this goes by the name of Multiple Document
Interface (MDI) or something.
