Subject: [ROOT] cygwin compile error
Hi all,
Got a little problem here that you might be able to help with..
I'm trying to compile root under cygwin using the ./configure win32 (Makefile.win32). I'm getting the following error:
o -c build/rmkdepend/main.c
main.c
build/rmkdepend/main.c(385) : fatal error C1060: compiler is out of heap space
C:\cygwin\bin\gmake.exe: *** [build/rmkdepend/main.o] Error 2
Anyone seen this before? Is there someway to increase the default heap size of cygwin?
To compile ROOT makefile uses the "regular" Visual C++ compiler.
The message you got means your machine lacks the virtual memory.
How large is it? Is your OS "NT" or "Win9x" ?
Cheers, Valeri
Thanks
Brandon
