[ROOT] TTree::BuildIndex takes more than 17min for 100 events

Hi ROOTers!

Adter switching from 2.25/00 to 2.25/03 on Linux I encountered a problem with
the TTree::BuildIndex method.

The tree has (among others) two branches, RunNumber and EventNumber, which I
want to build the index on (in the destructor of an event object):

  if (fmuodsFile->IsWritable())
  {
      fmuodsTree->BuildIndex("RunNumber","EventNumber");
      fmuodsFile->Write();
  }
  fmuodsFile->Close();

Testing it with 100 entries it now takes more than 17 minutes and still is not
finished. Did anyone see a similar problem? Did something essential change
which I did not see?

Thanks in advance,
Ingo
