[ROOT] root can't be compiled on FreeBSD of ix86?

Hi, rooters: 

Does anyone compile root on FreeBSD 4.1.1 successfully? I try to configure
it by ./configure freebsd4, but because of some errors of net.cxx file it
aborts during compiling.

Would you please give me some advice? Thank you very much.
