To Whom it May Concern,

One of the things that I liked about PAW was
the capability to deduce information about histograms.

Specifically, in the version that I was using,
if one dragged the mouse across a histogram while depressing
the left mouse button, a widget would pop up that would display
the number of entries in the histogram that was under
consideration. In addition, the histogram that was being
investigated would change color as more if it became filled
as the mouse was dragged across.

Is there a similar capability in ROOT?

	Posts and email welcome.

	Thanks in advance.

	regards,

	Lars Ewell
