[ROOT] Experimental and very preliminary Java API for reading Root files

I have created an very preliminary pure Java API for reading Root files. The details, including source code, are at:

There are two sample applications included, a simple RootObjectBrowser, for looking at the contents of root files (in a non-graphical way), and a Plugin for Java Analysis Studio to allow you to view Root histograms in JAS. Both applications are described (with screen shots) at the URL shown above.

Although this is still a work in progress I am happy to get feedback on it from anyone interested.
