	Hi,

I suppose you can use the libpq++ library, that comes with the
Postgresql distribution (libpq++ is "the C++ API to Postgres"). I have
used the C version of the libpq++ library (not in ROOT, I should say)
without problems. Everything is very well documented in the Postgresql
documentation.
