Use TPad::RedrawAxis. eg, if your canvas is c1, after having dramn your
histogram(s), do
c1->RedrawAxis();

Could you send me a canvas.root file with this problem?
To produce the canvas.root file, go to the canvas "File" menu and
select the item "Save as canvas.root"
