[ROOT] how to change the red color around canvases and pads

When a canvas or pad is drawn it is drawm with a red color surrounding it.
I have tried changing the highlight color and some other options, but I
can't change the red color. This is especially annoying when saving the
canvas to a file. Does anyone know how to change that color?
