Hi rooters! First of all one small remark: Wouldn't it be nice to display the date of postings to the roottalk in the table of search results? In most cases I have no use for messages older than - let's say - one year, but I can't see the date before I actually access the message. But what I really want to know is: Is there a way to tell rootcint not to generate a call to TObject::Streamer in the streamer of an own class? Of course one can do it by hand by just deleting two lines of the automatic streamer, but I think that is a good candidate for an officially supported option. Furthermore, one can use '//!' in the class declaration and rootcint's automatic Streamer doesn't write out a datamember marked in this way. How about the TTree::Branch method with splitlevel not equal zero? Could it be implemented to not generate a branch for those datamembers or would that mean too much effort?
