Hello Rooters, I've just recently installed the binary version of ROOT 2.24 on Linux Mandrake 7.0 with egcs. I am able to run ROOT and the tutorials without any problems. Unfortunately, the I cannot get the files in the test directory to compile. I get undefined reference errors. I have looked through previous postings on roottalk and noticed Linux (?) users having the same problem. There is one post that indicates this could be caused by having older include files in the distribution where the signature has changed from char* to const char*. Has anyone been able to resolve this? Thank You, Mark Polsen
