Hi Rooters, I have a producer program that creates ~100 TGraphs and a consumer script to display them. If I do not adopt the procedure described in TMapFile::SetAddress the consumer crashes when I try to load any TGraph. If I do set the Map Address it works ok but I think I noticed this: 1) when connecting from another machine, the result of : root root[0] TMapFile *m = new TMapFile ("dummy.map"); root[1] m->Print() gives a different number for the preferred address consumer crashes, no way to load TGraphs 2) same after recompiling ROOT ROOT 2.23 on Debian With ROOT 2.22 I did not need to use SetMapAddress , the programs were stable. Is there a way to do it such that one does not need to repeat the procedure and recompile programs too often ? Thanks for suggestions/explanations Cheers Stefano Argiro' Stefano Argiro' Universita' di Milano, Italy Dipartimento di Fisica delle Particelle
