Why do you think it is useless? Did you try to use it ?

TBrowser class is designed to "browse" the instances of C++ classes.
To use this one needs no menu or something like that but the "point" and
"click" interface only.
Did you try to "click" on ROOT icon and see what happens ?
(with "right" / left mouse buttons) ?
Which menu position do you expect to see to start your job ?
Under UNIX TBrowse widget does duplicate some extra menu positions
those one can find with TCanvas windows.
