  In other words - TThread class was not designed to be used across 
  platforms. Myself see no "theoretical" problem here. Even more 
  ROOT under Windows NT is multithread application even with no
  TThread class involved (just by historical reason - first there was 
  multi-thread ROOT for NT, then TThread class for "Posix" threads 
  was introduced by Victor Perevoztchikov)
