Myself see no "theoretical" problem here. Even more ROOT under Windows NT is multithread application even with no TThread class involved (just by historical reason - first there was multi-thread ROOT for NT, then TThread class for "Posix" threads was introduced by Victor Perevoztchikov) Valery
